A Way Forward for The United Methodist Church
The Council of Bishops met in a called General Conference of The United Methodist Church, February 23 - 26, 2019, in St. Louis, Missouri.  It was voted to affirm the current language in the The United Methodist Church's Book of Discipline which is the Traditional Plan.  Click here  to read all the proposed plans. Please be in prayer for our denomination.
Upcoming Opportunities
New Women's Bible Study, It's Not Supposed to Be This Way, by Lysa TerKeurst will begin on Tuesday, April 23, at 1:30 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall.  The author unveils her heart amid shattering circumstances and shows readers how to live assured when life doesn't turn out like they expected.  What do you do when God's timing seems questionable, his lack of intervention hurtful, and his promises doubtful?
Kreative Kidz Zone (KKZ) is back in full swing for the spring session.  This after-school program features various fine arts activities throughout each session: art of movement and dance, music, arts and crafts, art of construction, art of gardening, art of flight, and a devotion each week.  We also have had some visitors come and share about their animals as the Humane Society and Highlands Biological Foundation. Click here to download a registration form to return to the church.  We pick up from both schools and can return children to the Boys & Girls Club afterwards if needed.  Should you have any questions, please contact Julia Boeve, KKZ Coordinator at 743-5298 or
