“The one who blesses others is abundantly blessed; those who help others are helped.” Proverbs 11:25

Electronic Giving - Consider scheduling a recurring contribution today.  You no longer need to write checks, unless you want to, and this helps for when you are traveling or unable to attend church, you can still give to our missions and ministry.  There are several ways to do this:
    1. Through your personal bank account with "Bill Pay" which the church receives in check form;
    2. Through online debit/credit card giving via "Joyfully2UMC" app that you can download on your phone - this takes you directly to our secure online giving host, VANCO;
    3.  Through our website icon "Give Now" on the homepage or on the Finances page (see icon at top left of this page).
2018 Stewardship Campaign - We are currently in our 2018 Stewardship Campaign.  Please give prayerful consideration as to how much you would like to pledge in 2018 to CUMC to further God's Kingdom as we help people near and far bringing them to know Christ's love.  If you lost your pledge card or did not receive one, please click here for a copy to print off, complete, and mail to PO Box 162, Cashiers, NC 28717 or scan and email to  Thank you so much for helping us provide for so many in our community and further.
General Budget – Our general budget supports missions, operating expenses, staff salaries, and our many ministries with children, youth and adults. Everything we do is because of the prayerful financial support of CUMC members and friends.
Stock Transfer Gifting - If you wish to donate securities to Cashiers United Methodist Church, click here for instructions and forms to make the process easier for you.
Planned Giving - Information about how you can bequeath life insurance, stocks & securities, assets, etc. to Cashiers United Methodist Church will be available soon.
Good Samaritan Fund - Through this fund, our church has been able to help folks in need in tangible and substantial ways. The church administrator talks with the client to determine the needs. After researching their situation, the church administrator speaks with the pastor who makes the final decision as to helping with heating bills, medical care, rent, counseling, or other worthwhile needs. Our Christmas Eve service offerings are designated for this fund in addition to the donations made by individuals.
Missions Fund – The arms of Cashiers United Methodist Church reach out far and near to provide help to those in need. Financial assistance is always needed to help support three missionaries serving in other countries, our own mission building teams who continue to go to places ravaged by natural disasters, as well as lending support to many other local and distant places. You may choose to designate a special gift to the Missions Fund, but should know that a portion of each dollar given to the general fund also goes to support missions.
Cashiers Cares Christmas Gift Market – We have many special opportunities for giving around Christmas. One that was started in 2008, is called Cashiers Cares. This event is held in the Cashiers Community Center after the Cashiers Christmas Parade each year. As an alternative to buying expensive gifts for people who don’t need them, folks had the chance to support local charities in someone else’s honor. Those who come are treated to the ongoing celebration of community that began with the parade, a free hot dog lunch, and the children having free pictures taken with Santa. Our church helps sponsor this event which has collected thousands and thousands of dollars to serve our neighbors in need.
