Ongoing Programs  ChildrenYoung ChildrenNursery. We offer nursery care for children ages 0-3 on Sundays from 8:15-12:15 and Wednesdays from 5:15-6:30. Staff members Donna Smith and Michele Collins provide consistent and loving care of our young ones. Each family receives a pager in case they’re needed during the service.
Mother’s Morning Out. This affordable childcare program for children from one to five years old will resume on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays in August 18. For more information contact Barbie Nichols, MMO Director, at 743-0391.
Preschool and elementary children.Children are welcome to join us every Sunday. At 11:00 we offer Children’s Church for those from Age 3 through 2nd Grade. The Bible is brought to life through music, crafts, games and creative storytelling. On Communion Sundays the children join us to receive the sacrament. On all other Sundays, they join us for a Children’s Sermon. We have worship packets to help keep older children occupied during the worship service. Children can help lead worship by serving as an acolyte.
Wonderful Wednesdays. Our next nine-week session of Wonderful Wednesdays begins in September. Children from the whole community join us for a time of fun, fellowship and spiritual growth. We pick up elementary-aged children from Summit and Blue Ridge in the church bus and van. While the program dismisses at 5:20, many parents choose to stay for our Praise and Worship Service at 5:30 and reasonably priced Fellowship Meal at 6:30.
Cub Scouts. We are the sponsoring organization for the only Cub Scout Pack in Cashiers. During the school year they meet on Tuesday afternoons. For more details contact the Church Office at 743-5298.
